ScriptChek^® offers pharmacies a simple tool to extend the value of prescriber and pharmacy technological advancements into patients' homes. Once a prescription leaves the pharmacy, and the medication separated from the pharmacy bag, there is only one durable source of consumer information about that medication, the label on the prescription bottle itself.

The Company History

ScriptChek^® was founded in March 2001 by a Florida-based inventor, Stacy Kaufman, who has devoted his career to innovation, product development, and distribution of proprietary skin care and nutritional products targeted primarily to the fitness, health, and beauty industries. Stacy excelled in football and other sports while in school and at the same time developed a passion for person fitness and helping others with the same goal. As with many successful athletes, particularly football players, Stacy encountered injuries, which ultimately lead to chronic problems and prescription medications to manage pain. Stacy's personal experience with his own dosing mix-ups and confusion about his medications, lead to the invention of ScriptChek^® to address this very real and often dangerous conundrum for consumers, which through innovation, he recognized, can be effectively eliminated.

The ScriptChek^® label was carefully designed over several years and honed overtime to comply with pharmacy regulatory requirements and standard label printing processes in the pharmacy industry. Numerous features of the ScriptChek^® label are patented, including the ScriptChek^® "information tab" which more than doubles available label space for direction to patients, while being a very low cost and operationally simple innovation to implement.
